Professional Peel Level 1
LEVEL 1 Superficial Light | Professional Peels Level 1 are light superficial peels focusing on the Stratum Corneum (outer epidermis). All of these peels have minimal or no downtime and no skincare preparation is required, although it is an advantage. These peels are ideal to condition and correct the skin in preparation for Level 2 Peels. Although, some clients find that level 1 peels are enough for great results and maintenance that they don’t necessarily need to go up to level 2. . Light Superficial peels are recommended every 2-3 weeks
Professional Peel Level 2
Level 2 Superficial: Level 2 peels are deeper epidermis focused peels for more stubborn skin conditions/concerns. Your skin must be prepped for a certain amount of time with prescribed skincare and treatments by your skin therapist before commencing with these peels. This helps your skin have less irritation and more benefit from the treatment while the home care will maintain your skin in between treatments. Some of these peels may have a little bit of downtime and mild peeling/flakiness. These peels are recommended every 3-4 weeks.
Professional Peel Level 2+
Professional Peel Level 2+ | Superficial + Retinol: Professional Peel Level 2+ is similar to Professional Level 2 Peels, but with a different approach. These peels are known as metabolic and anabolic peels, they incorporate encapsulated retinol with AHA’s/BHA’s to stimulate the skins natural renewal process at a deeper level, with much less irritation or downtime. Unlike traditional chemical peels that use acids to exfoliate ‘down’, a metabolic peel uses intelligent ingredients to work with the skin, rather than against it. These peels are recommended every 4 weeks.
Professional Peel Level 3
Professional Peel Level 3 | Medium depth / Epidermis – papillary dermis: Professional Peel Level 3 focus on more serious or long term skin conditions such as moderate acne, scarring, melasma and ageing. These peels will only be done on clients who have had level 1 – 2+ peels, regularly at Stolen Moment Beauty. Your skin will need strict preparation as well as maintenance for the most superior results. You may experience more downtime compared to the other levels, which your therapist will go through with you before going ahead with these treatments. With these peels generally a course of at least 3 treatments is recommended for the best results.
